Oblivion, New Movie

I watched the recent Tom Cruise movie called Oblivion. It is a science fiction film that takes place on planet earth after a big war and all humans are sent to another place or planet to live.  Tom Cruise and a lady are left on earth to take care of the machines that are left there.  

The movie is science fiction but is also a love story.  
And it has an interesting, surprising twist in the end of the movie.  This unusual as movies I have seen recently do not usually surprise the audience too much.  

I highly recommend that everyone go see if even if you do not like Tom Cruise that much,.. It is an entertaining and somewhat thought provoking movie.

My friend bought this band and she saw pink ribbon to the bag

and made big bon-bon.

This is very cute and I really like it because pink is my favorite color!!!!

In the winter time, I go there very often after surfing. 

It is very good to eat it in the cold weather 

Birthday Lunch♡

I went to Sweet E's Cafe in Kilohana Square

for my birthday lunch!

We had Traditional Eggs Benedict with Hash Brown.

And, Traditional Eggs Benedict with

Herb-Roasted Potatoes.

And, Blue-Berry French Toast.

I really liked Blue-Berry French Toast,

But every things are sooooo good!!! 

I want to come back soon!!!

Acai Bowl@AILANA Shave Ice

I ate Acai Bowl @AILANA which is on KOna St. behind Ala Moana s.c.

Taste was very smooth even with ginger granola.

One of the vest Acai Bowl I ever ate.

Doraku Sushi @Ward

Doraku Sushi finally opened along with Chai's restaurant around Ward area.

 

We tried Doraku Sushi for lunch, the price was reasonable.

We ate "Chirashi-don" which has a few different kinds of sashimi on the rice,

"Agedashi dofu", and "Tofu Salad"

 They were very good!!!

TAKOYAKI

I made TAKOYAKI with my friends at home.  

Takoyaki is famous food in Osaka, Japan where I am originally from. Takoyaki is fried in Takoyaki maker, you see it in the picture.
It has Tako (octopus) in the middle, green onions, and red ginger
inside. People put with Tonkatsu sauce, Japanese mayo, and bonito
on it. It is very good to eat when it's hot!!! It is very easy to make.
That reminds me my home town!!!

Everybody go surf!!!

Today was first south swell!?!? The waves were good, it was overhead both Ala Moana and Diamond Head. The wind was kind of cold because it was not really summer yet. I had to wear wetsuit to surf today... Hope this year's summer has a lot waves. I can not wait to surf summer!!!

Waioli Tea House

I went to Waioli Tea House with my friend sto have tea and found out that they had a Valentine's Day brunch. So I made reservations for my husband and I for that evening.  These are pictures of the food they serve.  And there was live music too. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.  And the price was reasonable. I recommend it to everyone.
